Anne Margaret Deubel, MPH
Director of Crisis Services and Operations
Anne is a leader in the suicide prevention and crisis intervention field. She currently serves as the Director of Crisis Services and Operations for Response Crisis Center where she oversees several programs including partnerships with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline and robust local community education and outreach efforts. She formerly served as the board chair for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Long Island Chapter, holding several volunteer positions throughout over a decade of service. She values ethical transparency in her role as a leader. For her, this includes open conversations about the personal stories carried throughout professional efforts.
Anne completed her MPH at Brown University where she balanced her passion for community-focused intervention with the importance of individualized, culturally responsive resources. She works towards a world where we can all find our paths to meaningful connection. When she isn’t using her voice for these efforts, she is often talking about her beloved rescue animals. She thanks them for being there for her so that she can be there for others.
Certifications and Awards: Certified ASIST Trainer; Certified Animal-Assisted Intervention Specialist (C-AAIS); 2025 Inductee Epsilon Iota Chapter of Delta Omega Honor Society, 2024 Emerging Leaders Under 30 from LIBN, 2023 Board Service Award AFSP LI, 2017 Academic Excellence and Leadership from Suffolk County Community College.
